TLCC Members give program to Puyallup Cub Scouts

TLCC members Kevin Charboneau, Ron Ahre and Richard Schulz recently finished putting on a program for Cub Scout Pack 505 in Puyallup. They briefly talked to the scouts about why we collect coins and a little bit about coin collecting in general. They passed out Whitman penny folders to each cub and dumped pennies on their tables for them to search through and fill holes. They also handed out little gift bags with foreign coins and currency. During the hour the scouts were given an opportunity to view a table full of items brought for show and tell. Cubs and parents asked great questions about coins and collecting and seemed interested in keeping their new penny collections going. See photos taken by Rick below.
