The club is no longer holding annual banquets, however, it is having an annual informal private members-only BBQ in July. |
The 2013 56th anniversary banquet was held the evening of March 9, 2013 at the King Oscar Inn banquet facility, adjacent to the location of the club's semi-annual coin show. Guest speaker - Patti Finner. Ms. Finner, a former ANA vice president, was in town to teach a one-day workshop for local area Boy Scouts who wish to earn their coin collecting merit badge. The 2008 TLCC annual banquet was held the evening of Saturday, March 8, 2008 at the Tacoma Elks Lodge. As described by editor Rick Schulz, "Our annual banquet went off without a hitch. The 28 members and guests in attendance were entertained and informed by guest speaker Ross Hanson, president of Northwest Territorial Mint. Ross described his business and plans for the future. Currently he is looking for suitable land in Tacoma for his whole operation and to build a museum." |

The 2006 TLCC annual banquet was held on Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at the Tacoma Elks Lodge. The guest speaker was Steve Cox, president of the Seattle Numismatic Society. Steve showed us an interesting slide presentation on the topic of "Art in Numismatics." No banquet was held in 2005. |
The 2004 TLCC annual banquet was held on Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at the Tacoma Elks Lodge. The guest speaker was Del Cushing, long-time numismatist from the Seattle area. Del showed us an interesting slide presentation on the topic of "Northwest Exonumia." |
The 2003 TLCC annual banquet was held on March 4, 2003 at the Happy Days Diner in Lakewood. The guest speaker was Gene Henry, long-time numismatist and coin dealer from Seattle. His informative and entertaining talks are always a hit.
